Ambition Bio 2022 programme: matching supply and demand
email imprimer

The "Ambition Bio 2022" programme was presented on 25 June at the end of the Grand Conseil d'Orientation (GCO) de l'Agriculture Biologique, chaired by Stéphane Travert, Minister of Agriculture and Food, Gérard Michaut, President of the "Agence Bio" and its Director Florent Guhl.

Organic production is experiencing, under the impetus of a very dynamic demand, an unprecedented boom, both nationally, in Europe and worldwide. It is the marker of a new consumption pattern that meets societal expectations.

This demand was largely expressed in the framework of the États généraux de l'alimentation (EGA) and was taken up in the 2018/2022 roadmap of the government's food policy, in particular by setting ambitious objectives in terms of agricultural land or in the field of catering.
