The Indo-French Centre for the promotion of advanced research (IFCPAR) is launching a call for applications for the 2018 Raman-Charpak scholarship programme for Master students.
The Raman-Charpak programme aims to encourage the mobility of researchers and PhD students. This programme has just been extended to French Master students to carry out a research internship in a University or research centre based in India, from 2 to 6 months. The call for applications, launched on 1 August, is open until 31 October 2018.
IFCPAR was created in 1987 to support basic research projects carried out jointly by high-level scientists in France and India. Since 2012, IFCPAR has offered a platform for financing basic and applied research, involving companies from both countries, to support their Indo-French collaborative initiatives.
IFCPAR carries bilateral scientific cooperation programmes, which can fund public or public-private research projects of 3 to 5 years, seminars on a scientific and/or industrial subject, in France or India. This Centre encourages the mobility of researchers and doctoral candidates, mainly through the Raman-Charpak doctoral fellowships programme.
