In response to growing urbanization and the need to ensure safe and environmentally friendly food, a new form of food production is developing in the city: urban agriculture.

It covers different farming methods (cultivated roofs, shared gardens, cultivated wastelands, vertical agriculture, etc.). It contributes to improving the living environment, biodiversity, social ties and proximity to the short food circuit.

Urban Agriculture is a real challenge for the integration of production in urban areas (lack of space, pollution, soil degradation,...) and offers new opportunities for innovation (technical, organizational or political).
