The ‘Vine & Wine’ MOOC by Montpellier SupAgro, Bordeaux Sciences Agro, AgroSup Dijon and Toulouse INP-ENSAT is the new online teaching material adapted to students and professionals who wish to learn some essential scientific and technological facts for a better understanding of wine complexity and wine sector opportunities
This free, bilingual online course (French / English) is subtitled in Mandarin Chinese. Four teaching units or modules will lead you from the wine-making process to wine-tasting – ‘Vine Biology’, ‘Viticulture’, ‘Oenology’, ‘the Wine Industry and Economy’. Starting on January 31st 2018 you will have 5 weeks of work to accomplish.
The concept and the creation of this MOOC was achieved through teamwork between the four top French schools of Agriculture ‘Les Grandes Ecoles d’Agronomie’ renowned for the quality of teaching and scientific knowhow in viticulture and oenology. The French research institute ‘INRA’ also participated by providing scientific data.
On completing this international online course, participants with a Bachelor or Master degree or with significant professional experience are encouraged to continue studying. Enroll on a course at a Higher Education Establishment such as 'L'Institut des hautes études de la vigne et du vin de Montpellier SupAgro’ where you can find several masters including ‘vigne et vin’, ‘Vinifera European Master’ and ‘Master 2 Commerce des vins’.
