There can be no sustainable development without profound changes in food systems

In 2015, the UN adopted the Sustainable Development Goals. They are a global call for action to eradicate poverty, to promote prosperity while protecting the planet. Cirad researchers were involved by a group of international experts to achieve the objective of profound transformation of food systems: situated at the crossroads between the many issues and contradictions surrounding sustainable development.
