"Météo et Climat", an association founded under the name of "Société météorologique de France" and chaired by Jean Jouzel, is organising its 11th Scientific Day on Wednesday 21 November 2018 at the Hôtel de l'Industrie (Paris 6^e) on the theme "Limiting global warming to 1.5°C: why and how?
On 8 October, the IPCC published the special report on the limitation to 1.5°C in the context of sustainable development, poverty eradication and equity. 
This day will be dedicated to this report, its conclusions and their implications, in particular for adaptation and mitigation options.
