The Environment, territory and infrastructure (ETBX RU) research unit has developed research into regional dynamics linked to the renewal of environmental issues and climate change. Given the complexity of the issues addressed, the ETBX RU favors interdisciplinary approaches that combine human and social sciences (economy, sociology, geography, political science) with agronomy, statistics, applied mathematics and engineering sciences.
The ETBX RU is divided into two teams.
• Research carried out by the Environment, Stakeholders and Regional Development (EADT) is focused on the social construction of environmental challenges and the greening of socioeconomic processes and public action.
• The Water Infrastructure Asset Management (GPIE) aims to produce knowledge, methods and tools relevant to the asset management of water infrastructure (primarily water networks).
Their research aims to provide original perspectives to regional development stakeholders (public and private) and to support the development of public action and the evaluation of public policies.
