UMR 1341 - Nutrition, Metabolisms and Cancer (NuMeCan)

The goal of the unit “Nutrition, Metabolisms and Cancer” is to investigate how food, environmental, behavioral and metabolic determinants have an impact on health and diseases, particularly chronic diseases or disorders in different target organs such as the liver, the digestive system and the brain.
The project promotes a strong translational and clinical research to enable the transfer of advanced cognitive research for the benefit of individuals and patients.

The unit brings together experts in social and behavioral sciences, neuroscience, nutrition, hepatology, gastroenterology, oncology, physiology, metabolism, toxicology, microbiology, molecular and cell biology and genomics.
