Committee on World Food Security (CFS) | Special session | 4 june
The Committee on World Food Security (CFS) is the foremost inclusive international and intergovernmental platform for stakeholders to work together to ensure food security and nutrition for all. Using a multi-stakeholder, inclusive approach, CFS develops and endorses policy recommendations and guidance on a wide range of food security and nutrition topics.
The Special Session of the 48th Plenary of CFS will take place virtually on Friday, 4 June 2021 to endorse the CFS Policy recommendations on agroecological and oher innovative approaches. The endorsement of the policy recommendations was moved from CFS 47 (held in February 2021) as their negotiations and completion was delayed due to COVID-19.
