Agreenium: French higher education in life sciences

Higher agricultural, veterinary and landscape education forms frameworks in the field of agriculture, food, sustainable development, veterinary medicine and public health, management of rural regions, forests, water, the environment, natural environments and the landscape.

These training courses are based on top-level research and are linked closely with the professional sectors involved

Top-level research activities, linked closing with training, are implemented in the higher agricultural education institutions. They rely on partnerships forged with the large national institutions (Inra, Anses, CNRS, Cirad and also CNRS, Inserm, etc.).

They provide training by and through research: exploring research activities throughout the curricula, training in experimental approach, easier access to doctoral studies, etc. They encourage permanent upgrading of teaching programmes.
