A CSA study published on 14 October 2016 on the French and the fight against global hunger highlights the place of agroecology as an agriculture model to be pursued in the future.

Small farmer agriculture and agroecology are in fact perceived to be the most sustainable agriculture model, an opinion which has been consolidated in the last four years.

The long-term benefits of agroecology are identified clearly, despite a majority of people surveyed citing a lack of public authority support for this alternative.
