Gabriel Gonzalez Guirola, a former ENSAV (Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Audiovisuel) student, was selected to produce a video to illustrate the "One health" concept in the dictionary of agroecology.

Director's testimony:
"I used the so-called 'paper cut' animated film technique, which I think is a good way to create the metaphor: cut, burn, transform. The printer represents the derailed system, the hand represents the human being and his role in stopping this system, the image of the lungs transforming into butterflies makes the link between the human body, nature, the planet ...

The choice of animated film makes it possible to represent ideas easily. Suddenly, this video is aimed at all types of audiences, and allows for reflection on the subject ... which I really like!"

The text of the video was written by Michel Duru, researcher at UMR AGIR, INRAE ​​who is also the author of the definition of "One health" in the dictionary of agroecology.

Gabriel Gonzalez Guirola, ancien étudiant de l’ENSAV, a été missionné en 2020 pour réaliser une vidéo autour de la définition du concept « Une seule santé » du dictionnaire d’agroécologie. A partir d’un texte écrit par Michel Duru, chercheur, Gabriel a pris le parti d’en faire un film d’animation.

Témoignage du réalisateur : 
« J’ai utilisé la technique de film d’animation dite de « papier découpé », une bonne façon d’après moi de créer la métaphore : découper, bruler, transformer. L’imprimante représente le système qui déraille, la main représente l’être humain et son rôle pour arrêter ce système, l’image des poumons qui se transforment en papillons fait le lien entre le corps humain, la nature, la planète…  
 
Le choix du film d’animation permet de représenter certaines idées plus facilement, tout en ayant une forme de neutralité sur les sujets sensibles abordés : les images sont moins brutes, moins choquantes que des images réelles. Du coup, cette vidéo s’adresse à tout type de public, et permet une réflexion sur le sujet… ce qui me plait beaucoup !
