Eradicating hunger and malnutrition by 2030 will mean changing direction and finding ways of reducing the cost of a healthy, varied diet. This is the stage set by the latest FAO report on the state of food security and nutrition in the world. Sandrine Dury, a specialist in food systems with CIRAD, gives us her reaction.
