UMR 1221 - Laboratory for the study of Soil-Agrosystem-Hydrosystem interactions (LISAH)

LISAH researches deals with hydrology, contaminants transfer and erosion in cultivated landscapes, and on the spatial properties and temporal changes of the landscapes, in order to address following an integrated approach and with a broad view the many challenges relative to water and soils in cultivated landscapes.
Researches focused mainly on the Mediterranean environment, and secondarily on the tropical environments.

The laboratory operates in Maghreb countries (Tunisia, Morocco) relying on a network of partners (INAT, INGREF and ENIT in Tunisia; IAV, INRA and ENFI in Morocco).

Secondarily, the lab has developed activities in the tropical areas on the study of the environmental impacts of intensive agriculture on soils and water. In particular it is active in Guadeloupe with partner Institutes or units (INRA, BRGM, CIRAD, IRD).
