UMR_C 6144 - Process Engineering - Environment - Agri-Food (GEPEA)

GEPEA's objective is to develop process engineering in the fields of agri-food, the environment and the development of marine bioresources. Its scientific activity is organized in 2 main axes and 5 teams.
"Processes for Bio-resources" axis brings together the MAPS² (Matrices and Foods, Processes, Properties, Structure, Sensory) and BAM (Bioprocesses Applied to Microalgae) teams with the interface of bio-based raw material transformation issues, either to develop complex matrices or to extract active compounds from bio-resources.
"Ecotechnologies" axis integrates the teams concerned by the processes for ecotechnologies. The originality of this structuring is to combine the process, energy and reduction aspects of health and environmental impact, as well as the notion of territory or the coupling of matter and energy. Moreover, the Ecotechnologies axis allows a system approach, transverse, multi-disciplinary and integrated by field of application.
The axis comprises 3 teams: TEAM Team (Water, Air and Metrology Treatment), GREEN Team (Energy and Waste Recovery and Emissions Treatment), OSE Team (Optimisation - System - Energy).
